Specialty:
Therapist for High-Achieving Adults Reclaiming Identity Beyond Survival
Who I Help:

The people who find their way to me are often the ones everyone else depends on.

I work with high-achieving women and men who are professionals, parents, caregivers, and leaders. They have learned how to hold it all together. From the outside, their lives look stable and successful. Internally, something feels off. There is a quiet disconnection they cannot always name.

They do not come in saying they have lost themselves.
They come in saying they are overwhelmed or tired in a way that rest does not fix.
“I am doing everything right, but it does not feel right.”
“I just feel off.”

As we slow things down, it becomes clear this is not just stress. It is years of expectations, roles, and patterns they have been carrying without question.

Many are navigating burnout, not only from doing too much, but from being who they had to be for too long. They are used to performing, achieving, and showing up for others, but not always checking in with themselves.

There is often anxiety, including overthinking, staying ahead, and trying to maintain control. Depression may be present, often showing up as disconnection rather than sadness. For some, ADHD is part of the picture, frequently identified later after years of pushing through and masking.

Identity becomes a central theme.

Life transitions such as motherhood, career shifts, and relationship changes bring up a deeper question.
Who am I outside of what I do for everyone else?

In relationships, I often see patterns of people pleasing, difficulty with boundaries, and dynamics rooted in earlier experiences. These include family roles, unspoken expectations, and generational patterns that have not been fully processed.

While it may present as anxiety, burnout, or depression on the surface, the underlying work is deeper.

They have built a life that works.
They do not feel like themselves within it.

My role is to help them understand why and reconnect with who they are underneath it all.

How Can I Help?

The clients I work with are meaningful to me because I understand them, not just professionally, but personally.I know what it looks like to be capable, dependable, and high-functioning while carrying more than others can see. To show up, hold it together, and keep going, even when something internally feels off.
That understanding shapes how I work. I create a space where there is no need to perform or prove anything. A space where clients can be honest about what is not working without feeling like they are failing, and where they are seen for who they are, not just what they do. I respect my clients and what they carry. I do not take lightly the trust it takes for them to open up and do this work. This is not just about helping them function better. It is about helping them reconnect with themselves in a way that feels real and lasting.

Why This Work Matters

As a Black woman, the clients I work with are meaningful to me because I recognize them. I understand what it means to be capable and dependable while carrying more than others see. To hold it together, to show up, even when something internally feels off. That matters to me. I create a space where there is no need to perform or prove anything. A space where clients can be honest about what is not working and feel seen for who they are, not just what they do. I respect my clients and what they carry. I do not take lightly the trust it takes to do this work. This is not just about functioning better. It is about helping them reconnect with themselves in a way that feels real and lasting.

What It's Like Working With Me

Working with me is both grounding and honest. I am warm and easy to talk to, but I am also direct. I am not going to sit back and just nod. I am listening for patterns, what is said and what is not said, and I will gently point out what I notice so we can make sense of it together.

If You're Unsure About Starting Therapy...

If something in you has been saying it’s time for something different, I want you to trust that. You don’t need the perfect words or a clear starting point. If you’re ready, I’d be honored to support you as you begin.

Why We May Be A Good Fit

I don’t believe in just talking about your week and sending you on your way. I help you understand why you do what you do, how your patterns were formed, and what it looks like to respond differently. You will leave sessions with clarity and something you can actually apply. I’m warm, but I’m also direct. I will meet you where you are, and I will help you move forward.
