How Can I Help?

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) which helps in cultivating a more rational view of their current stressors and tools to help cope with daily living. Along with SFT (Solution-Focused Therapy) which helps to find practical solutions for current problems. Both modalities allow acknowledgment and acceptance of your thoughts and feelings regarding your presenting problems free of judgment. Utilizing these modalities will also then provide the opportunity to move beyond the presenting problem(s) and shift to problem-solving or the solutions that can help progress you forward in a healthy direction.

What Can You Expect When Working With Me

As someone who has experienced mistrust and betrayal in relationships, I understand the hesitancy you may have to engage in the therapeutic process. I offer clients a safe space, unconditional positive regard, and a judgment-free environment to heal. After gaining a more thorough understanding of your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. We will shift to focusing on solutions, which may include skill building, that you feel are best to incorporate into the management of your life. Incorporate mindfulness activities such as meditation to help reduce anxiety. As we work through increasing your awareness of life experiences to your decision-making, we will practice implementing said changes via role-plays and behavioral experiments. Lastly, we will monitor your progress and sustain changes via booster sessions as needed.

What I Do For Fun

I enjoy traveling, new adventures, writing, finding new restaurants, and most importantly spending time with children.
